To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, pursuant to his answer of 23 February,Official Report, columns 271–72, if he will place in the Library a copy of the results of any market research relating to the BT3 share offer campaign.

The market research into the advertising campaign on the BT3 share sale was carried out on a commercial in confidence basis. The research commented on the relative strengths of the creative ideas of competing advertising agencies; it would not be appropriate to make it public.
