§ Mr. SoamesNeither Commission directive 91/321 nor Council directive 92/52 on infant formulae and follow-on formulae define such terms. Any interpretation of these terms where used in the law would be a matter for the courts.

§ Mr. SoamesThe Government are currently reviewing the comments received during the consultation exercise on the proposed United Kingdom regulations on infant formulae and follow-on formulae to implement the relevant EC directives. Our decision on the final form of the regulations will be announced as soon as possible.
