§ Mr. AtkinsLow-level radioactive waste in west Cumbria is managed and disposed of in accordance with strict regulatory requirements. The west Cumbrian environment has, over many years, been the subject of extensive research and monitoring programmes undertaken by the nuclear site operators, the regulatory authorities and Government Departments.
