To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many(a) men and (b) women were convicted of drug offences in the Greater London area during 1993.

§ Mr. Maclean
The 1993 court proceedings data will not be available until the autumn 1994.
In 1992, within the Metropolitan police district and the City of London, 4,828 males and 521 females were convicted of drug offences.
