§ Mr. NorrisThe relevant local authorities feel it prudent to take a closer look at the condition and operation of Tower bridge and Rotherhithe tunnel. I am sure they are right to do so. The results will help them to decide what, if any, further steps are needed. Therefore, no plans for new river crossings currently exist or are being pursued.
