Navy Museums
Except for the Fleet Air Arm Museum (ex-officio appointment) chairmen for all other Navy Museums are appointed by the respective Museum Board.RAF Museum

The Director for each Navy Museum is appointed by a special Board of the appropriate museum. All Trustees are appointed by the respective Museum Board.National Army Museum (NAM)
The Director of the Museum is appointed by the council of the NAM and the Trustees are appointed by the Army Board.RAF Museum
The Director of the Museum is appointed by the Trustees and the Trustees are appointed by the Secretary of State.Services Sound and Vision Corporation (SSVC)
