To ask the Lord President of the Council what is the reason for maintaining the convention that the terms of the Privy Councillors' oath are confidential.

§ Mr. Newton
The convention, which is of long standing, reflects the principle that matters spoken of in council are exclusive to the Sovereign and to members of the Privy Council.
