Mr. Blunkett

To ask the Secretary of State for Health how many community psychiatric nurses have been employed in the national health service in each year since 1983.

The information available is shown in the table. The figures show that there has been an increase in the number of nurses working in community psychiatrics between 1983 and 1992 of 194.4 per cent.
