asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they will seek to ensure that European Union members pay the contributions for the maintenance of the United Nations Observer Mission in Liberia, authorised under General Assembly Resolution 48/478 of 23 December 1993, before the end of the period covered by the Resolution (i.e., 21 April 1994).

We pay our assessed contributions for all UN peacekeeping operations in full and on time, and impress upon others the importance of doing so wherever practicable. However, we are unable to ensure that other countries follow our example.
