What has been the cost to date of the Department of Trade and Industry inquiry into the affairs of Guinness plc.

In November 1986 inspectors were appointed to investigate and report on the affairs of Guinness plc. As at the end of January 1994 the costs of that inquiry total £ 2,130,000.
