To ask the Secretary of State for Health if she will list the response she has received following consultation by the Wilson committee on the review of the national health service complaints system; when she expects the committee to report; and if she will make a statement.

Professor Wilson's review committee invited evidence from interested organisations and individuals last August. We understand that about 250 submissions of evidence were received by the review committee.

My right hon. Friend the Secretary of State expects to receive the review committee's report shortly. We will carefully consider its conclusions.
