The minimum shown is that for the lowest population band of up to 240,000. The maximum is that for the highest band in Scotland of 1,700,001 to 2,300,000. This table reflects in summary form salary scales agreed by the National Joint Council for Local Authorities' Fire Brigades and the National Joint Council for Chief and Assistant Chief Officers of Local Authorities' Fire Brigades.
