§ Mr. Douglas HoggThe Gaza-Jericho agreement provides for the Palestinian authority to manage water, with the exception of that for settlements and military installations. This will continue to be managed by Merekoth Water Company, in accordance with existing quantities of drinking water and agricultural water. Israel and the Palestinians are also to establish a subcommittee to deal with this issue.
