§ Sir Hector MonroThe present grant system applicable to local authorities will not apply to the new water and sewerage authorities. Their arrangements will be determined by a new financial control regime. Provision is made in the Local Government etc. (Scotland) Bill for grants to be made to the new water and sewerage authorities under clause 83.
