asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether the Ministry of Defence still intends to retain its land and facilities at Larkhill, to increase its use of the land, and to prevent any close public approach to its facilities.

We do not expect any of the land owned by my department in the Larkhill area to become surplus to requirements. Public access to this land will continue as at present, subject to local by-laws.
