§ Mr. AitkenThe United Kingdom ballistic missile defence pre-feasibility study is the subject of a competitive tendering exercise. Tenders were received on 23 June 1994 from two consortia led by British Aerospace plc and Logica UK Ltd. The two tenders are being assessed against the invitation to tender. It is intended that the contract award will be announced in the autumn.
