To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will publish a table showing the salary range of each rank of police officer in Scotland.

Chief constables Who were in post on this population band at the time of the agreement on the 1984 pay review received a personal salary of supplement of £500 (pensionable) while they remained in their present posts; this is increased to £954 with effect from 1 September 1993.
