§ Sir Harold WalkerTo ask the Lord President of the Council what is the number and percentage of registered disabled persons employed by the House of Commons; and what would be the number and proportion equivalent to the statutory quota.
§ Mr. BeithI have been asked to reply, on behalf of the House of Commons Commission.
Of a total of 1,404 staff employed by the House of Commons Commission 16 are registered disabled persons; this represents 1.1 per cent. of the work force. The statutory quota, 3 per cent., for the current complement would be 42.
