asked Her Majesty's Government:
Whether they will obtain and publish information about the extent of foreign ownership of the British press and, if not, why not.

§ Baroness Trumpington
The Government do not consider that the costs of collecting and publishing information about nationality of owners of the British newspaper and periodical press, which comprises at least 2,600 titles, could be justified.
