§ Mr. Gwilym JonesThere are no central guidelines for the release of information by chief anbulance officers. In the event of a major incident, the responsibility for dealing with the media lies with the receiving hospital. A copy of the guidelines dealing with such incidents—Welsh Office circular WHC(93)(69)—has been placed in the Library of the House.
