HC Deb 14 June 1994 vol 244 cc415-6W
Mr. Llwyd

To ask the Lord President of the Council if he will list each Bill presented to Parliament since 1964 which has proposed setting up an elected body for Wales, indicating the year of presentation, the proposer and the final stage at which it arrived.

Mr. Newton

The Scotland and Wales Bill introduced in 1974 was subsequently lost in the House of Commons in 1976.

The "Wales Bill" introduced in 1977, received Royal Assent on 31 July 1978 and was later repealed in 1979 following a referendum.
