§ Mr. SainsburyThe Government made it clear in the White Paper on competitiveness—Cm. 2563—that adopting best practice and improving management skills in engineering is important and that United Kingdom firms should utilise and reward engineering skills at all levels. It is, however, ultimately up to employers to decide how they best involve engineers in their businesses.
