§ Mr. Donohoe
To ask the President of the Board of Trade if he will ensure that the Government ratify the chemical weapons convention by the time it is scheduled to enter into forte.

§ Mr. Heseltine
The Government are committed to ratifying the chemical weapons convention and will introduce the necessary implementing legislation as soon as parliamentary time permits.
