To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will set out by region a breakdown of the 1993 arable area payments scheme.

A breakdown of 1993 claims in Scotland under the arable area payments scheme could only be provided on a regional basis at disproportionate costs. The information is, however, available on an less-favoured area/non-LFA basis and is as follows:
