HL Deb 06 June 1994 vol 555 c67WA
Lord Hylton

asked Her Majesty's Government:

How many prosecutions have been brought in recent years for wrongful imprisonment and unlawful withholding of passports from domestic workers; and what measures they are taking to prevent such offences, particularly in Greater London.

Earl Ferrers

This information is not collected centrally. The leaflet given to domestic workers who come here with their overseas employers, under the special arrangements for the admission to the United Kingdom, explains the protection which is available to them under the law here.
