HC Deb 21 July 1994 vol 247 c595W
Ms Primarolo

To ask the Secretary of State for Health how many shops there are on national health service premises selling cigarettes otherwise than to long-stay patients who are smokers.

Mr. Sackville

Surveys carried out by regional health authorities showed that six outlets were still offering tobacco products for general sale at the end of May 1993. Three of these outlets have since ceased such general sale. The Department will continue to keep the matter under review.
