HL Deb 21 July 1994 vol 557 cc45-6WA
Lord Geddes

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they intend to abolish the requirement for those who kill game to hold game licences.

Lord Annaly

My right honourable friend has decided that the licensing requirements for those who stake or kill game, contained in the Game Act 1831 and the Game Licences Act 1860, should be abolished. Such abolition will also apply in Scotland.
