§ Mr. JackFor each environmentally sensitive area there are performance indicators related to the specific objectives of the scheme. Booklets summarising these objectives and performance indicators have been placed in the Library of the House of Commons.
A programme for monitoring the environmental impact of the scheme is in place and will enable us to judge progress towards achievement of the objectives and associated performance indicators. Reports on the results of the monitoring will be published preparatory to the proposed five-yearly reviews of each ESA.
