Mr. Alan Howarth

To ask the Secretary of State for Social Security how many claims for invalidity benefit and disability premium were disallowed in each quarter since mid-1993; how many appeals against refusal of such benefits were successful and how many unsuccessful; and what the comparable quarterly figures were for the previous two years.
