§ Mr. BaldryOn 15 July, the Government published a consultation document on measures to tackle discrimina-tion against disabled people. My Department will continue310W to be involved with other Departments in the development of measures arising from that consultation. I aim to publish, by the end of the year, a consultation paper on ways in which the building regulations could be extended to require provisions in new dwellings for the benefit of disabled people.
