§ Mr. Redmond
To ask the Secretary of State for Health whether the national health service will underwrite the legal costs of the non-executive directors of the Cornwall health care trust in respect of the forthcoming libel action.

§ Dr. Mawhinney
No decision on the question of underwriting the costs can be made until the outcome of a preliminary hearing is known later this year.
