§ The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Department of Transport (Lord Mackay of Ardbrecknish)We have today appointed Mr. Peter Ford as chairman of London Transport for a five-year period from 15 September 1994 following the retirement of Sir Wilfred Newton.
