§ Mr. HanleyA small amount of low-level radioactivity has been found in the ground in parts of the Woolwich garrison site. This has arisen from paint used in luminising operations carried out during the 1950s and 1960s in a workshop that has since been decontaminated. The full extent of the ground contamination is being assessed so that any necessary remedial action can be undertaken.
