HC Deb 14 July 1994 vol 246 cc723-4W
Mr. Canavan

To ask the Secretary of Slate for Transport if he will list the number of traffic examiners responsible for road traffic enforcement in each county.

Mr. Key

The road transport enforcement division of the vehicle inspectorate is organised by area. As the areas cover more than one county an analysis by county cannot be given.

The table details the current number of substantive traffic examiners involved directly in traffic enforcement work by area.
