§ The Attorney-GeneralThe Crown Prosecution Service continues to train lawyers as youth offender specialists with responsibility for reviewing files involving alleged offences committed by juveniles. The revised "Code for Crown Prosecutors" sets out the balance to be struck between the interests of young offenders and those of the community. Time limits in cases involving juveniles have been agreed with the police and courts to achieve swifter justice.
