Results of analysis of water samples taken from consumers' taps are held on public registers maintained by the water authorities. Summaries of this information are included in the authorities' annual reports on drinking water quality, available from each authority. Further summaries are included in the annual drinking water quality in Scotland report published by the Scottish Office, copies of which are in the Library.
