§ Mr. RadiceTo ask the Secretary of State for Scotland what surveys of the views, opinions and attitudes of the staff of his Department have been carried out in the last two years; and if he will place copies of the findings in the Library.
§ Mr. Lang[holding answer 7 July 1994]: As part of its commitment to achieving the Investors in People standard, the Scottish Office carried out an attitude survey of 20 per cent. of staff in August 1992.
Information on the key points emerging from the survey was distributed to all staff and a fuller executive summary was made available on request. I have arranged for copies of these documents to be placed in the Library of the House.
