To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what percentage of his Department's(a) press releases and (b) written answers are printed on recycled paper.

[holding answer 4 July 1994]: In accordance with Government policy, all the Department's press releases and written answers are printed on environmentally friendly paper from managed forests and bleached using a chlorine-free process. Where possible, press releases are sent electronically.
