§ Mr. WaldegraveMy right hon. Friend the Minister for Disabled People will be co-ordinating action on the forthcoming consultation on disability and will involve other Departments as necessary. The principles underlying the citizens charter apply to everyone, including people with disabilities. I am hoping shortly to publish jointly, with the Minister for State for Social Security, a checklist to help service providers and those responsible for drawing up and publishing charters or statements of charter standards to consider in more detail the standard of service they offer to people with disabilities.
