To ask the Secretary of State for Wales if he will instruct South and East Wales Ambulance trust to remove the bull bars fitted to their vehicles and instruct all ambulance services that the fitting of bull bars to emergency vehicles is prohibited on the grounds of safety.

The South and East Wales Ambulance NHS Trust has already made arrangements to remove bull bars from 10 ambulance vehicles. Elsewhere in Wales bull bars are not fitted to front-line ambulance vehicles.
