To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what representations he has received regarding his programme to tackle crime.

I have received many representations from a number of different quarters. The Police Federation has given my programme to tackle crime a particularly warm welcome. It described it as "first class" and saidIt will help tremendously in the fight against crime".
