§ Lord James Douglas-Hamilton[holding answer 1 July 1994]: Central Scotland police, Grampian, Northern constabulary and Tayside police have not incurred any expense in policing fox hunts since 1990. Details relating to costs incurred by Fife constabulary and Strathclyde police are not readily available. The estimated costs for policing this activity by Dumfries and Galloway constabulary and Lothian and Borders police are as follows:
