To ask the Secretary of State for Social Security whether pensioners will be able to choose to have their benefits paid through the Post Office.

Mr. Hague

Pensioners and others will continue to be able to choose to collect their pensions and other benefits at the post office. We are well aware of the valuable role played by post offices, particularly in rural areas.
