asked Her Majesty's Government:

When they expect to introduce the 50 mph speed limit, announced last year, on the Marlesford to Benhall section of the A.12.

Further consideration is being given to whether the proposed 50 mph speed limit is appropriate or enforceable. The Highways Agency will write to my noble friend by the end of July.
