To ask the President of the Board of Trade what total amount of funding has been made available over the last year by(a) regional enterprise grants and (b) the English Estates scheme.

The provision for regional enterprise grants in 1993–94 in England is £8.8 million. Forecast capital expenditure by English Estates on behalf of my Department in 1993–94 is £71 million.
