§ Mrs. Gillian ShephardTotal income from farming is estimated to have risen by 40.7 per cent. in 1993 compared with 1992. This is welcome news for farmers and I hope will be recognised as such. Detailed estimates of income, output and productivity of United Kingdom agriculture in 1993 were published this morning and these have been placed in the Library of the House.
