To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland what consultation, advice and representation he has received from the Scottish Legal Aid Board regarding the Sheriff Court Fees Amendment (No. 2) Order 1993.

The implications of the order for legal aid expenditure have been the subject of correspondence and discussion between the Scottish Legal Aid Board and the Scottish Office Home and Health Department on a number of recent occasions.
