§ Mr. Ainger
To ask the Secretary of State for Wales whether he or anyone in his Department has been asked for a reference by the Further Education Funding Council for applicants to the post of property controller.

§ Sir Wyn Roberts
A senior official in the Department was asked to provide a reference and did so.
