To ask the Secretary of State for Transport if he will meet the Stratford Promoter Group to discuss the proposal prepared by the group for the siting of an international channel tunnel station at Stratford.

Yes. I suggest that the promoter group first study Union Railways' report published on 24 January, in the light of my right hon. Friend's statement on the same day; have further discussions with Union Railways; then contact my office to arrange a mutually convenient time.
