To ask the Secretary of State for Transport if he will publish a table showing, for a number of typical aircraft, the landing charges expressed per passenger, on the assumption that the aircraft are 80 per cent. full, at peak times at Gatwick, Stansted, Manchester, Birmingham and East Midlands airports.

The information requested is shown in the tables.

Charges are based on the assumption that the aircraft concerned meets ICAO chapter 3 noise standards and qualify for any noise rebates available at the airports concerned. The following aircraft assumptions also apply:
